Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026

Nolaro Labs respects your privacy and aims to be transparent about how information is handled when you use our website and tools.

This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how it may be used, which third-party services support our website, and the choices available to you.

1. About Nolaro Labs

Nolaro Labs provides online tools, resources and digital content through its website.

Some tools are designed for particular countries or use cases, while others may be used internationally.

2. Information You Provide

Most Nolaro Labs tools are designed to work without requiring you to create an account or provide personal information directly to us.

Depending on how you use the website, information you voluntarily provide may include:

  • your name or business name;
  • customer names or business details entered into a tool;
  • addresses, phone numbers or email addresses entered into a tool;
  • item descriptions, prices, quantities or other information used to create a document;
  • information included in a problem report;
  • your email address if you contact us or choose to provide it in a form; and
  • other information you voluntarily send to Nolaro Labs.

3. Information Entered Into Our Tools

Some Nolaro Labs tools allow you to enter information to generate documents, calculations or other results.

The Australian Tradie Quote Builder is designed to process quote information directly in your browser. This can include business and customer details, contact information, item descriptions, quantities, prices, tax settings and notes. The information is used to calculate and display your quote and generate or print a PDF.

The current Quote Builder code is designed to process quote details in your browser. It does not intentionally send those details to Nolaro Labs or include them in requests to the country-detection function. Separate requests to load website resources or measure website usage may still transmit technical information to the relevant providers, as explained below.

Your browser makes separate requests to third-party services to load website resources, measure website usage and estimate your country. Those requests may expose technical information, such as your IP address, to the relevant providers.

This description reflects the current implementation of the tool and may change if its code or integrations change. It is not a guarantee about browser extensions, network software or other services operating on your device.

Avoid entering information that is unnecessary for using a tool, particularly sensitive or confidential personal information.

4. Report a Problem

If you use the Report a problem feature, the information you submit may be processed by Netlify Forms and made available to us so we can investigate the issue.

Depending on the form fields you complete, a report may include a description of the problem, the page where it occurred, information you choose to include, and your email address if requested or supplied.

Netlify, as the form service provider, may process information associated with the form submission and its delivery, including technical information. Information submitted through the form may be retained in accordance with our handling practices and Netlify's applicable systems and policies.

We use problem reports to investigate issues, improve our website and respond when appropriate. Please do not include passwords, payment card details or other sensitive information in a report.

For more information about how Netlify handles information, see Netlify's Privacy Policy.

5. Automatically Collected Information

Nolaro Labs uses a Netlify Function to determine a visitor's country from location information available to Netlify in connection with a website request. This helps the website apply the appropriate regional analytics-consent behaviour and, in the Quote Builder, select country-specific settings where supported.

Google Analytics

Nolaro Labs uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website and its tools. Depending on its configuration and applicable settings, Google Analytics may process information such as page views, interactions, browser and device information, approximate location, identifiers, and information collected through cookies or similar technologies.

Nolaro Labs uses a region-based consent system to control when Google Analytics loads. In regions configured to require a choice, new visitors are shown a consent banner and Google Analytics is not intentionally loaded unless they accept analytics. In other regions, Google Analytics may load automatically unless the visitor has previously rejected analytics.

Visitors can accept or reject analytics through the consent banner. They can also reopen the banner using the Privacy Settings link in the website footer. Their choice is stored in their browser for up to 180 days, unless they clear their browser storage or the choice cannot be saved. Country-detection information is cached in the browser for up to 24 hours.

Google Analytics is provided by Google. Information processed through Google Analytics is subject to Google's applicable policies and the configuration of our Analytics property. For more information, see Google's information about safeguarding Analytics data and the Google Privacy Policy.

Automatic Country Detection

Nolaro Labs uses a Netlify Function to estimate a visitor's country from information available to Netlify about the website request. This helps the website determine which regional analytics-consent behaviour to apply.

The country-detection function returns a two-letter country code when available. The website may cache this result in the visitor's browser for up to 24 hours to reduce repeated requests. Country detection can be inaccurate, including when a visitor uses a VPN, proxy or other network service.

Country detection is separate from the information you enter into the Quote Builder. The function is not designed to receive your quote details. Netlify may process technical information associated with website requests, including IP addresses, to provide hosting, request processing and related services.

For more information, see Netlify's Privacy Policy.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Quote Builder is designed to let you enter quote details and generate a quote PDF without requiring analytics cookies.

Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to measure website usage when analytics is enabled. Whether these technologies are used depends on the Analytics configuration, consent state and browser settings.

Nolaro Labs also stores certain preferences in your browser's local storage. These include your analytics choice and when it was saved, along with a cached country-detection result. The analytics choice is intended to remain valid for up to 180 days, while the cached country result is intended to remain valid for up to 24 hours. Clearing browser storage may remove these saved values.

In regions configured to require a choice, the website displays an analytics-consent banner before intentionally loading Google Analytics for a new visitor. In other regions, analytics may load automatically unless the visitor has previously rejected it. You can reopen the banner at any time using the Privacy Settings link in the footer.

You can also manage or delete cookies and website storage through your browser settings. Clearing browser storage may reset your saved analytics choice and country cache. These browser controls are separate from the website's Privacy Settings feature.

7. How We Use Information

Where Nolaro Labs receives personal information, we may use it for purposes such as:

  • providing and operating our website and services;
  • responding to enquiries and problem reports;
  • investigating technical issues;
  • maintaining website security and reliability;
  • understanding website usage and improving our tools;
  • communicating with you when appropriate; and
  • complying with applicable legal obligations.

We do not intend to sell personal information submitted directly to Nolaro Labs.

8. Website Hosting, Code and Third-Party Providers

Nolaro Labs uses third-party services to operate, deploy and maintain its website. These currently include GitHub for website code and repository management, and Netlify for website hosting, deployment, form processing and the country-detection function used by the consent system.

These providers may process technical information needed to provide their services, such as IP addresses, request details, diagnostic information and information associated with submitted forms. The information processed depends on the service, its configuration and how the website is used.

GitHub may process information associated with repositories and related account or service activity. If website code or other content is stored in a public repository, that content may be visible to the public.

Netlify may process information associated with hosting, deployment, website requests, country detection and form submissions. Information handled by these providers is also subject to their applicable terms and privacy policies.

For more information, see GitHub's Privacy Statement and Netlify's Privacy Policy.

9. Other Third-Party Services and Resources

Depending on the page and features being used, Nolaro Labs may load the following third-party services and resources:

  • Google Analytics 4: website usage measurement and analytics. Google Privacy Policy.
  • Netlify country detection: a server-side function used to estimate a visitor's country for regional analytics-consent behaviour. Netlify's Privacy Policy.
  • FlagCDN: country flag images used by the Quote Builder's country selector.
  • cdnjs: delivery of the jsPDF JavaScript library used to generate PDF documents.
  • jsDelivr: delivery of the Flatpickr date-picker library and its stylesheet.
  • GitHub: website code and repository management. GitHub Privacy Statement.
  • Netlify: website hosting, deployment and form processing. Netlify Privacy Policy.

When your browser requests an external resource, the relevant provider may receive technical information associated with that request, such as your IP address, browser information and the requested resource.

Loading a software library or image does not, by itself, mean that the contents of your quote are sent to that resource's provider. The Quote Builder is designed to process quote information in your browser, as described above.

Third-party providers operate under their own policies and terms. They may process information in countries other than your own. Nolaro Labs does not control their independent privacy practices.

10. Data Storage and Retention

Nolaro Labs aims to retain personal information it receives only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

Information submitted through Netlify Forms or another third-party service may be retained in our service dashboard or the provider's systems, depending on the service configuration and applicable retention practices.

Information entered into the Quote Builder is processed in your browser and is not intentionally submitted to Nolaro Labs by the current Quote Builder code. Your browser may retain information separately through its own features or other software, depending on your settings and how you use the tool.

11. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information that we receive against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

We also rely on third-party providers to operate parts of our website. Their security practices and responsibilities are subject to their applicable terms and policies.

No website, internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply to you, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access to or correction of information held about you.

If you would like to make a privacy request, contact us using the details below. We will consider requests in accordance with applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before providing access to personal information.

Information held independently by third-party providers may also be subject to those providers' own privacy processes and policies.

13. Privacy Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.

Depending on your location and the privacy laws that apply, you may also be able to contact your local privacy or data protection regulator. In Australia, this may include the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

14. Children's Privacy

Nolaro Labs is not directed specifically at children, and we do not knowingly request personal information from children for the purpose of creating accounts or profiles.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us that should be removed, please contact us.

15. International Users

Nolaro Labs is accessible to users internationally. Privacy laws and rights differ between countries.

Our third-party service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable law imposes requirements on such processing, we aim to address those requirements as appropriate.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to remove or limit privacy rights that cannot lawfully be removed or limited in your jurisdiction.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, tools, services or information-handling practices change.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
